 Geneviève Castrée was born in Québec in 1981. Swept away by comics, she has known she would be a cartoonist since the age of nine. Castrée felt the urge to publish her mini-comics early, appearing in the Montreal underground scene while she was still a teenager. To this day she still hasn't found the time to go to college.
Castrée has made a few books and has had a number of exhibitions in Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia and Japan.
Geneviève Castrée now lives in the Pacific-Northwest where she draws, makes small sculptures out of porcelain, and plays music under the name "Ô PAON."
