Guys! We are kicking the year off right. I don't think we've shown you much of Luke Ramsey's Intelligent Sentient? (or this great poster he designed for his Vancouver launch) yet, so I'm including a few snaps of this lovely Petit Livrey graphic novely book that contemplates nature and technology, alienation and aliens, love and propaganda.

Delicately filigreed, vibrantly intrigued by the interconnectedness of all things, Intelligent Sentient? is designed to be read back and forth and meditated on.

Luke is a British Columbia-based artist who has a longstanding interest in collaborative work - he co-founded the Island Folds residency and has created numerous public art projects. He has brought these interests into the pages of Intelligent Sentient? , a world-building work that features both collaborative spreads and pages by artists such as Michael DeForge.

And did I mention? It's just two weeks until the Vancouver launch! Luke will be on hand to sign copies of the book, and will be giving a presentation. So come on down to Lucky's (3972 Main Street in Vancouver) at 7 pm on Friday, February 6th. And for the rest of us non-Vancouverites, Intelligent Sentient? will be in stores everywhere February 10th, so prepare to be fascinated.
