D+Q Abroad: ELCAF is this weekend!

We had a truly fantastic time at ELCAF last year, and so are thrilled to say we're returning to London for this year's festival (which promises to be two times the fun in its new two-day format). Get ready for Jillian Tamaki, Michael DeForge, Brecht Vandenbroucke, Tom Gauld, and D+Q, England- ELCAF is this weekend, Saturday June 20th and Sunday June 21st! The panels, signings, and other fun stuff takes place across two venues in Hackney: The Laundry, where you'll find us in the basement at booths 60+61, and SPACE, where you'll be able to catch the great talks outlined below. The show runs 10am-7pm both days, and is a steal at £3 for single-day entry and £5 for the whole weekend. Tickets are available here

Here is D+Q's signing schedule for the weekend. Once again, we're at booths 60 and 61, in the basement at The Laundry (2-18 Warburton Road), and all signings take place there unless otherwise noted:

1:30-2:30pm: Michael DeForge signing 
2:30-3:30pm: Brecht Vandenbroucke signing

Saturday, June 21st, 11:15am-12:15pm: Brecht Vandenbroucke will discuss his 2014 debut, White Cube and his often surreal images portrayed within painted comics that are a fresh look at contemporary life and the absurdity of our world.

Saturday, June 21st, 5:30pm-6:30pm
: Michael DeForge discusses First Year Healthy, Ant Colony, and his unique characters and hallucinatory artwork that have made a huge mark within the alternative comics world.

Sunday, June 22nd, 5:30pm-6:30pm
: Jillian Tamaki is this year's ELCAF artist-in-residence and a special guest of the festival! She will discuss her latest, SuperMutant Magic Academy; winning the Caldecott Honor, and more.
