Jillian Tamaki is currently returning to our North American side of the Atlantic after a terrific ELCAF in England, and she's headed straight to San Francisco for an appearance at the American Library Association Annual Conference 2015! The conference begins today, taking place June 25th-30th in the Moscone Center's North and South Halls. While much of the programming is exclusive to conference attendees (register here), there are still a few open-to-the-public opportunities to meet Jillian and hear her speak! Here's where you'll find Jillian this ALA Conference:

Kick off the conference with the Michael L Printz Program and Reception! This special YA program features Jandy Nelson, Jenny Hubbard, Jessie Ann Foley, Mariko Tamaki and Jillian Tamaki! Tickets here

: Signing at Macmillan Booth #1003, North Hall. Copies of SuperMutant Magic Academy will be available!

3pm-4pm: Jillian discusses winning the Caldecott Honour and more alongside Mariko Tamaki and Cece Bell on panel "Award Winning Authors: Their Books, Process, and the Future" at the Graphic Novel/Gaming Stage.

: Signing at Groundwood Booth #1327, North Hall.

12pm-1pm: As comics and graphic novels receive more acclaim than ever, they're also subject to increased censorship. Jillian joins Mariko Tamaki, Gene Luen Yang, Eva Volin, Charles Brownstein and Maren Williams on panel "Protecting Comics: Authors & Experts On Fighting Graphic Novel Challenges" at the Graphic Novel/Gaming Stage.

Have a wonderful (extended, perhaps?) weekend, SF!
