Anders Nilsen and Marc Bell tour begins tomorrow!
Minneapolis! Marc Bell has officially joined Anders Nilsen in your city, and they're kicking off the tour for their brand new books tomorrow, Wednesday July 8th, at Magers & Quinn. Marc will present Stroppy (now in stores everywhere), his first full-length graphic novella, which marks a return to comics that AV Club called "at once satisfying and exasperaing, in a good way: certainly a reading experience like no other." Read their full review here, and check out a preview of Stroppy here.
Anders will present Poetry is Useless, the beautifully packaged collection of his elaborate and elegant sketchbooks. Anders discusses the origins of this project in an excellent, in-depth interview over at The Comics Journal. Poetry is Useless isn't in stores until July 14th, so this is your chance to snag a copy early. Check out a preview here.
Both readings will be accompanied by slideshow presentations, and there will be a signing to follow. The evening begins at 7pm. Come through and send these two off in style!
