People of Toronto, I know you have been awaiting this moment: the great Marc Bell has landed in your city and he has a show opening T-O-N-I-G-H-T(!!!) at Weird Things Gallery and curio shoppe. The show is entitled "Leftovers Again AKA The War on Paper" and promises to be filled with all sorts of Marc Bell collaged-and-redrawn palimpsesty goodness. According to the Facebooks, Marc will have about a hundred pieces of paper on display, some on the walls and some in a raffle drum (if Rick comes through with it).
I know I say all the time how jelly I am of you folks in all these glamorous other cities, but honestly! No excuses Tronno, this is just a whole lotta bee-yew-tee-full paper for sale in one place. Get down to Weird Things Gallery (998 Bathurst between Bloor and Dupont) tonight, Thursday November 12th. The opening is at 7 pm and the show will be up until mid-December. Weird Things is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 12 to 7 pm.
