This Saturday, May 7th brings Free Comic Book Day to participating stores near you!

This year D+Q's FCBD offering is a very special preview of our Fall 2016 graphic novel by Tom Gauld: Mooncop. It also features a collection of Tom's contributions to The Guardian.

For those based in the UK, head to Gosh! London at 1 Berwick Street in London from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.  Gosh! London will be celebrating FCBD with cartoonists whose work have appeared in The Guardian, and this includes one of our favourite Guardian contributors, and the man behind our FCBD offering himself — Tom Gauld. Stop by and get those Mooncop previews signed!

And of course our own Librairie D+Q will be participating, so be sure to stop by 211 Rue Bernard O from 10am - 8pm and pick up some FREE comics and snacks! KEAN SOO creator of the graphic novel series Jellaby will be presenting an hour-long workshop on the creative process involved in creating a comic and or graphic novel. This is an all-ages event, and like the comics, it is FREE and open to the public. The workshop begins at 11am. For more information, RSVP on Facebook.

Be sure to support and shop all local participates on this wonderous day — you can find a list of them here.

Happy Free Comic Book Day!
