EDINBURGH: The one and only Tom Gauld will be attending this years Edinburgh International Book Festival this year! The festival takes place from August 13th - August 29th.

Britian's most popular cartoonist will be there on August 24th, from 3:45pm - 4:45pm at Baillie Gifford Corner Theatre. Tickets range from £6.00 to £8.00.

Tom will be there in anticipation of Fall's D+Q release of Mooncop, a bittersweet tale that follows the day in the life of the last policeman living on the moon. And oh! Look what's arrived in the office.

Tickets go on sale at 8:30am on Tuesday, June 21st, aka TODAY! Buy your tickets online here.

If you haven't gotten your hands on our FCBD issue this year, which featured an excerpt from Mooncop, you have, frankly, been missing out! That's okay though, because you can still read an excerpt here

NPR said, "Gauld’s deceptively simple style, which reduces human interaction to affectless stick figures, really works in Mooncop" while The Seattle Review of Books praised, “The book [as] exactly what a Free Comic Book Day book should be: it told a brief story, hinted at something larger...and entertained its readers.”

See you in August, Edinburgh!
