Publisher Peggy Burns and Editor in Chief Tom Devlin spent last week in France at the Festival de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême and it was a dang good year to be there. The festivities were capped off by the Fauve Award Ceremony on Saturday night, where longtime D+Q author Seth was given a special jury prize for the achievement that is Clyde Fans and brand-new-to-D+Q author Yoshiharu Tsuge was given a career retrospective prize.

Now seems like a great time to remind you how excited we are for our landmark seven volume translation series that collects all of Tsuge's mature work and kicks off this spring!

Back at DQHQ we just received finished copies of the first volume, The Swamp, due out this April with a translation by Ryan Holmberg and an essay on Tsuge's influence by manga editor Mitsuhiro Asakawa.

This gorgeous edition collects eleven stories first published between 1965 and 1966, including "The Phony Warrior" (his very first contribution to Garo) and the legendary "Chirpy."

Congratulations to Seth and Tsuge for the well-deserved honours! We couldn't be prouder to work with two such visionary authors.
