Saturday October 29, 2016 - Sunday October 30, 2016: MICEXPO FESTIVAL
University Hall, 1815 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA.
2:30pm - 3:30pm: Panel ‘Style & Process'
An in-depth look at the creative processes of four accomplished cartoonists with markedly different working methods. The artists will reveal the steps and stages they go through to take a comic from story to finished product, and explore the relationship between process and visual style.
MICE Panels are located in the Lecture Hall on the Second Floor and Workshops take place in the Lower Level of University Hall.
Tuesday November 1, 2016: Columbia University

7pm: Drawing the unspeakable
The Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Comics Association join Comics@Columbia to present a conversation with French cartoonists Kerascoët, Pénélope Bagieu and Catherine Meurisse, discussing the challenges of conveying powerful emotions in a medium often wrongly dismissed as trivial.
This event, moderated by cartoonist Kriota Willberg, is part of the FRENCH COMICS FRAMED festival.
