Vogue names Sabrina in 2018's 10 Must-Read Books

“The 10 Must-Read Books Of 2018” / Vogue / Hayley Maitland / November 28, 2018

From a graphic novel that made history to a biography of the last known slave, it's been a banner year for fiction and nonfiction alike. As the nights close in, spend evenings at home with Vogue's edit of the best books of 2018, whether it's a thoroughly modern romance novel (hello, Sally Rooney fans) or David Sedaris' latest comic masterpiece.

Sabrina by Nick Drnaso

This autumn, Nick Drasno’s Sabrina made history when it became the first graphic novel to be nominated for the Man Booker Prize, with Zadie Smith calling it a masterpiece (more than sufficient reason alone to pick up a copy). The chilling plot, about a young girl who disappears and her boyfriend’s attempt to figure out what happened, is elegantly crafted and filled with surprising twists, but it’s the gorgeously rendered illustrations that make it a future classic.
